The district is holding a series of workshops for community members to share their ideas on ways to support students and improve achievement. Input from the workshops will be considered as the district develops the 2020-21 fiscal year budget.
The Local Control and Accountability Plan workshops will run through Feb. 20. All workshops start at 5:30 p.m.
In addition to having a say about improvements to Fresno Unified’s education program, participating adults will get an admission ticket to Fresno Chaffee Zoo. Childcare, translation, and dinner also will be provided at the workshops.
“We hope our community will take the time to attend one of the workshops being held throughout our district and share their thoughts on how to best invest in our students to help them reach their full potential,” Superintendent Bob Nelson said.
